My art speaks to the idea that WE are not represented enough. I work in realism and color realistic portraiture to capture the details, skin color, style, and culture of people who look just like me. I try to capture emotion and eyes as much as possible in my work as well as conversations that can be perceived differently by different viewers where that conversation can move from the painting to the person's viewing.
