The new Center for Healthcare Education is designed to offer students with aspirations in any healthcare profession the best possible learning environment to ensure that they are prepared to succeed in the booming healthcare industry. The new center encompasses 120,000 square feet of exceptional learning facilities in a three-story building on 8.7 acres, and includes a Multi-Professional Education Practice, State-of-the-Art Laboratory and Classroom Facilities, Enhanced Athletic Training, Human Performance and Motion Analysis Labs, Life and Sport Analysis Clinic, and a Multipurpose Amphitheater.
Picture That successfully curated a culturally diverse, uplifting and vibrant art collection for Sacred Heart University's new Center for Healthcare Education (CHE). The goal when designing the collection was to align with the CHE's mission as well as fully integrate the artwork with the building's interior design and architecture. Under the direction of President Dr. John Petillo and Vice President Michael Iannazzi, the project kicked off with a nationwide search for artists who created figurative images of caregivers and also patients receiving care. The entire art collection debuted during the CHE's open house on September 22, 2017.
