Celebrate Survivorship FingerSmear, 2012
For over twenty years, painter Kelly Sullivan, a pioneer in the field of collaborative art and founder of FingerSmears™ (Sullivan’s signature method of collaborative painting) has sparked artistic expression and creative fuel in hundreds of thousands of lives.
Fine Art
In search for more subtlety and depth, Sullivan put down her acrylic paint in 2006 and picked up the classic medium of oil paint. While oils added more complexity to her work, it was her decision to seek out and study under some of today’s most celebrated living painters that really helped to shape and refine her already ingrained and personal style. Vibrant portraits, subtle landscapes, and a constant desire to grow, have made Kelly’s fine art pieces a staple in collector’s portfolios across the country.
FingerSmears (TM)
Sullivan’s well known and nationally recognized form of collaborative art, FingerSmears™ were born out of Kelly’s desire to illustrate the importance of arts in education. The powerful effects of these collaborative works caught on quickly and since their inception, over 80,000 people, including rock stars, celebrities, Fortune 500 executives, and school children from around the world have participated in Kelly’s FingerSmears™. She has been commissioned to commemorate the US Open, All Star Baseball Games, The National Walk for Epilepsy, The Consumer Electronics Show, and Pepsi All-Star Softball Games.
