State of CT appoints Stamford consultant for minority business outreach
The Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development named Valerie Cooper as its Stamford representative on DECD's new Minority Business Initiative, which aims to help minority-owned businesses with technical assistance, access to capital and developing a pipeline for state contracts.
Cooper is owner of Picture That in Stamford, which consults to organizations considering how to decorate their facilities with art.
